About Me

I was born in Fort Worth, Texas and raised out in the country nearby. I married my wonderful wife in 2013 and later that year I joined the Marines. I spent almost 6 years doing radio, satellite and computer communication in the service and deployed with the 13th MEU on the USS Essex. on return, I finished my term of active duty and moved to Minnesota with my wife in 2019. I have lived in Monticello since 2020 and have vastly enjoyed the area and all it has to offer. In 2022 we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy! He is a major reason in why I want to run for office and make our community the best it can be for him. 

There is and should remain to be a separation of church and state. I am a Christian and these are the verses that drive my beliefs.

Accountability: 

Luke 12:47-48 That slave who knew what his master wanted but did not prepare himself or do what was wanted will receive a severe beating. But the one who did not know and did what deserved a beating will receive a light beating. From everyone to whom much has been given, much will be required, and from the one to whom much has been entrusted, even more will be demanded.

Affordability and Support: 

Luke 3:11-14: “Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none, whoever has food must do likewise.” Even tax collectors came to be baptized and they asked him, “Teacher, what should we do?” He said to them, “Collect no more than the amount prescribed for you.” Soldiers also asked him, “And we, what should we do?” He said to them, “Do not extort money from anyone by threats or false accusation, and be satisfied with your wages.”

I enjoy doing woodworking, video games, chasing my son around, ice fishing, and playing D&D and board games.
