Who am I?
Colton Kratky
I was born and raised in Texas until I enlisted in the Marine Corps and served 6 years as a radio operator and computer administrator. In 2018, I deployed on the USS Essex in support of the 13th MEU and upon returning and finishing my active duty contract, we moved to Minnesota to be closer to my wife's family and where she grew up. I almost immediately fell in love with the state and everything it has to offer.
I decided to run for office after I found out I was going to be a father and wanted to ensure that my son and future generations would have a place to grow up and make their own one day. My other reasons for running are my oath and my faith. When I enlisted I took an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States and I want to make sure that our constitutional rights in Minnesota are not trampled on. My faith calls for me to take care of those in need, love my neighbor, and take care of the planet.

The interests of our district residents comes first! Not massive corporations, not billionaires, not tech bros, and not the party. We can't bow down just to raise the tax base a little and we need representation that will fight for us at the capitol.
What do I care about?
Protecting Minnesotans, the environment, and our country from those with extreme money and power. We need to halt the epidemic of hyper-scale data centers in Minnesota until a comprehensive framework can be established. We need to ensure that all Minnesotans have a country to grow up in, a planet to grow up in, and the ability to be themselves and thrive.
